Shipping policy

All orders are processed within 1 business day (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped. 

You can skip the shipping fees with free local pickup at our retail store located at 17 Prince Edward Street, Brighton, Ontario, Canada. After placing your order and selecting local pickup at checkout, your order will be prepared and ready for pick up as soon as we can. We will send you an email when your order is ready.

Our in-store pickup hours are 9:30 am to 5:30 pm Tuesday to Saturday. Please have your order confirmation email with you when you come.

If you run into a problem with the shipping service, please contact the store and we will help you resolve the issue. 

Echelon Hobbies is not responsible for any lost or stolen packages. However, most orders are insured for $100. If you would like to add additional insurance to your order, please let us know in the order comments, or by contacting the store. 

Free Shipping rates are as follows: 

Ontario and Quebec : Free shipping over $100

The rest of Canada: Free shipping over $200

*Only on qualified orders. Areas outside of normal postal routes or heavy weight shipments may incur additional charges.

Flat Rate shipping rates are as follows (Rates have increased due to higher shipping costs): 

Ontario and Quebec : $15 Flat Rate

Western Provinces: $25 Flat Rate

Eastern Provinces: $30 Flat Rate

Northern Provinces: $35 Flat Rate

Rural and Remote locations

Echelon Hobbies reserves the right to charge extra shipping for remote locations and areas outside of normal postal routes. In such cases, you will be contacted so we can arrange other shipping options. 

 

Heavy weight shipments

Echelon Hobbies reserves the right to charge extra shipping for packages that are too heavy for normal shipping costs 

 

International Shipping

We do not offer international shipping at this time. But as we grow, it may be something we add in the future.
